The positions focuses on general digital IC design, integration and verification. You will be part of a team developing microcontroller-based solutions for wireless standards like Bluetooth Low Energy, proprietary protocols and radio systems.
On a regular basis, responsibilities will include one or more of the following points:
Digital IC design and verification
Top level integration and verification
SoC verification by use of embedded C
Tool development through various programming languages
System analysis
Architecture choices
Specification work on sub modules or at chip level
Qualifications and skills
Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
Proven experience or education in areas mentioned under responsibilities listed above
Experience in producing written documentation
Written and verbal communication skills in English

Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical or similar.
2+ years of experience in chip physical design
Place & Route with CTS and Timing Closure
Hierarchical Physical Design Flow
Power grid implementation and IR-drop Analysis
Layout extraction and Static Timing Analysis
Physical Verification of IC layout, DRC, LVS, DFM
Physical Verification (DRC, LVS, DFM) using Calibre is preferred
Tape-out procedures and Foundry Interface
Knowledge of a scripting language like TCL, Perl, Python, or similar
Experience with Confluence and JIRA.
Ability to work fluently in English

IP integration to subsystems
Clock, power, and reset implementation and verification
Work with the backend team for timing closure

Develop, document, maintain and support UVM verification components for internal use in Nordic Semiconductor.
Following the UVM standard, best practices and Nordic adopted guidelines
Participate as a UVM expert in:
Maintenance and improvement of Nordic’s application of UVM
Training and support of engineers using UVM
Qualifications and Skills
Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
Minimum 5 years’ experience from equivalent job
UVM
SystemVerilog (OO testbench, coverage and assertions parts of the language)
Linux
Revision control
Written and verbal communication skills in English
Advantageous Knowledge
SystemVerilog (synthesizable RTL part of the language)
